Govt. College Sampla offers
innovative educational environments, opportunities and experiences that enable
our students to grow, thrive and prosper. We also provide courses to the
students which help them enhance their professionalism, humanism and their
responsibility towards the society. Our mission is to provide educational
programs and services that promote students' achievement and life long learning
to meet the needs
of our diverse community.
Our primary mission is to provide certificate and carrier skills needed for
success at workplace to enable the students improve their critical
thinking
future citizens and
citizen-leaders for our society. We do this through our commitment to the
transformation power of liberal arts and commerce education . We conduct
the classes with exposure to new ideas, new ways of understanding and new ways
of knowing the students and enable them embark on a journey towards
intellectual transformation.
Historical Perspective
Govt.College, Sampla was established in the
year 2013 with a view to providing quality baccalaureate education in Arts
and Commerce to the young boys and girls of the village Sampla and the surrounding villages.
Initially it was started in the rented building of Govt. Polytechnic Sampla. It
was shifted to it's new building in July 2017, which is situated at
Beri-Sampla Road, Sampla, Distt. Rohtak. The new campus is situated in
10.5 acres of lush green area. Mother nature cradles it in all its ambiance .
It is located about 23.4 KM away from it's district headquarter Rohtak.
The other towns near Sampla are Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, Kharkhoda and Jhajjar
.The college was started in 2013 with Arts and Commerce streams. Our first
batch passed out in June 2016.Our students are serving in different departments
of Govt.of India particularly in Armed Forces, Govt. of Haryana and in
Private Sector. Some of our students have established their own business
in Sampla and as well its surroundings.
The
Campus
Govt.
College, Sampla is spread over an area of 84 Kanal 8 Marlas. College building is a wonderful piece of architecture
with lush green lawns in the centre and outside the building. All the
rooms and corridors are airy and well ventilated.
The college has class rooms are ,
two lecture theatres and three labs.The College has a spacious library
which fulfills the demands of students.
A Multipurpose Hall is a special
attraction for the students where they can play indoor games like Table Tennis,
Badminton, Yoga, Chess & Carom Board.

The aim of the
association is to

meets such as conferences workshops,seminars, lectures by eminent personalities
representing all walks of life for the benefits of members,teachers and
students.
3. Institute and
award prizes for the meritorious students of the college in the field of
academics,sports and other extra curriculum activities.
The executive member of
the association decided to get the association registered under the societies
registration act 2013 of Haryana. Soon the Government College Sampla Aluminium
Association will be a registered body under the act.

Overview
Admissions are conducted online in the
college. Intake of students in BA Pass course is 240. Intake of students in
B.Com is 80. Intake of students in M.Com is 40. Fee is deposited online and fee
structure laid down by DGHE Haryana is strictly followed. There is no tuition
fees for girl students.

Application Procedure
Applications
will be invited online for the admission for the session 2020-21 as per the
directions of DGHE Haryana and as per the eligibility conditions for the
candidates laid down by M.D.UNIVERSITY Rohtak.

made on merit basis.

Reservation policy is followed as per Govt. of Haryana
rules.

in this college is made on the basis of merit list generated from the online
process through DHE portal to the B.A, B.Com first year classes. Admission in
M.Com Previous started from the session 2019-20. Procedure for the admission a
started the college in the month of June of every year. Online admission
training imparted to the Nodal officer selected by the principal in the month
of June.

Acticities
Students participate
in many activities organised by the College from time to time. NSS helps in building
camaraderie of spirit and plays a vital role in acquiring leadership qualities.
Sports keep them physically and mentally fit. Indoor and outdoor games are
available for students. Cultural activities boost confidence and remove stage
fear. Lot of opportunities are provided to students for overall
development.

and Scholarship
Equal opportunities
of education are provided to students at Govt. College, Sampla. Students
belonging of SC/BC category are given monetary help by Govt. of Haryana, in the
form of Scholarship. A boon grant is also sanctioned by Govt. of
Haryana to enable SC/BC students for the purchase of books. All
Government plan made for the welfare & upliftment of SC/BC
students are implemented in Toto. To ensure transparency the amount of
Scholarship is directly to the account of beneficiaries.
Placement
In Government College Sampla, Placement cell is playing
an important role in enhancing the Career of students. Under this Cell, many
activities take place every year. Every year many books relates to competitive
exams are purchased and students freely use them. Related Magazines are also
purchased. Every year Training Cum Placement Fair is organized by Pt. NRS
Government College Rohtak and the students of this college always participate
in this fair. Many Extension Lectures are conducted under the aegis of this
Cell every year. These lectures are related to Career Advancement of students,
Soft Skill, Personality Development etc. Students actively participate in this
programs. For preparation of competitive exams, 15 days workshop was organized
this year with a focus on particular competitive subjects . So that their
problems related to topics may be solved. This cell ensures to conduct such
types of workshops in future.

Quality Assurance Cell is Headed by the Principal of the College alongwith
Co-ordinator (IQAC) and members from Financial Management and Social Sector.
The IQAC meets Annually to review the activity of college.
Administration
The
College is headed by Principal. There are two branches, namely Administration
and Teaching. The overall academic control is of Maharashi Dayanand University Rohtak
and Financial and Administration control is of Govt. of Haryana through
Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education.
Attendance
75% attendance is mandatory to appear in exams. Rules
regarding attendance are laid down by Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
Continuous 6 days absenteeism without any information will lead to
striking off the name.
Discipline
Students
in the college are self disciplined. No outsider is allowed in the college
campus. Any breach in the conduct leads to strict disciplinary action. Teachers
are allocated Proctorial Duty during free periods to maintain discipline.

Opportunities
Placement Cell will make
efforts to provide job opportunities to the students by participating in
different job fair organized by different colleges. This cell is normally doing
its efforts in this regards. Many students have benefited from these types of
placement fairs.
We
are planning to focus on one more option that is campus recruitment. In this
regards nearby companies shall be invited to come at college and select the
candidate according to the nature of work/ job. How to face the interview,
Extension lectures are also conducted so that students may understand the needs
and requirements of present era and may prepare themselves according to
Corporate demand.

Right of information act 2005
It was notified in the
gadget of India on 21 June 2005 RTI act 2005 come into force on
12-10-2005.Under this act all citizens shall have the right to information
subject to the provisions of the Act.
Objectives of RTI Act.
- To provide right to information citizens of India to
access information under central of public authorises.
- Promote transparency and accountability in the working
of every public authority and stop corruptions.
- Government accountable to the governed.
- RTI act 2005 covers Central state and local
governments.
Senior Associate professor Shri Sultan Singh is
working as SPIO in the College for providing the information to the applicants
time limit for disposal of request.
