Right of information act 2005
It was notified in the gadget of India on 21 June 2005 RTI act 2005 come into force on 12-10-2005.Under this act all citizens shall have the right to information subject to the provisions of the Act.
Objectives of RTI Act
- To provide right to information citizens of India to access information under central of public authorizes.
- Promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority and stop corruptions.
- Government accountable to the governed.
- RTI act 2005 covers Central state and local governments.
